Associate Pastor
The Associate Pastor will focus on Adult Disciple-Making and Leadership Development. He works closely with the Lead Pastor, Elders, staff, and lay leaders to advance the church’s mission. This role provides strategic oversight for adult disciple making, assimilation, and leadership development to ensure the church operates with clarity, health, and alignment. This pastor will need to combine gifts of shepherding and administration to build teams and equip leaders to accomplish the work of the ministry.

Status: Fulltime, pastoral
Primary Responsibilities
1. Adult Discipleship & Assimilation (Lead Area)
The central focus of this role is to oversee a clear, effective pathway for adult discipleship.
2. Leadership Development & Staff Oversight
3. Strategic Planning & Vision Implementation
4. Pastoral Duties & Congregational Support
Qualifications
Biblically qualified as an elder/pastor (1 Timothy 3:1–7; Titus 1:5–9).
Demonstrates the fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22–23) and maintains a life of integrity and doctrinal faithfulness (1 Tim. 4:16).
In agreement with the EFCA Statement of Faith; willing to pursue credentialing if not already held.
Bachelor’s degree required (ministry, theology, leadership, or organizational leadership preferred); Master’s degree preferred.
Significant experience in discipleship, leadership development, and organizational/administrative leadership.
Strong communicator and collaborator with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Passionate about forming disciples, developing leaders, and strengthening the church’s health.
Relationships
Reports to: Lead Pastor
Works closely with: Pastoral staff, administrative staff, lay leaders, Elders
Leads: Adult discipleship leaders, assimilation systems, assigned staff and coordinators
Corporate Worship Director
The primary responsibility of this position is to lead a team of volunteers who will lead the congregation in worship while emphasizing what is Biblically true and Gospel-centered in the lyrics we sing while stirring our affection, awe, and adoration of God. Through music, lead us in awe-filled praise to God for all He is and all He has done.
Status: Part-Time (30 hours/week)
Reports to: Lead Pastor
Leads: Worship Planners, AV team, and Praise Team members
Compensation: Based on experience. Include benefits such as insurance and retirement.

A mature, growing relationship with Jesus Christ
In agreement with the EFCA Statement of Faith.
An enthusiastic member of Westchester, or willing to become one.
Experience with leading and developing people.
Skilled in leading worship vocally and instrumentally (guitar and/or keyboard preferred).
Experience leading blended worship in a church setting; comfortable working with multigenerational teams.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Committed to personally growing in both personal walk with Christ and professional skill. A humble awareness of growth areas.
Accountable: able to accept responsibility, submit to authority, and a teachable heart
